College Course Placement: How is it done and what does it mean?

Dean Barb Putman and Testing Coordinator Jan Smith and will explain SCC's college placement process and outcomes. During the session, participants will review sample items from the Accuplacer tests, student performance expectations at different placement levels, and college-level score cutoffs for Accuplacer, SAT, and ACT.

Course Pre-Requisites, Co-Requisites, and Waivers

Deans Thom Brooks, Debra Klavohn, and Barb Putman will explain course pre-requisites, co-requisites, and waivers. Understanding these scenarios will be essential for advisors when the pre-requisite and co-requisite checking features in Colleague are enabled.

Colleague - Using Degree Audit

Registrar Christy Deaver will instruct faculty and staff on Colleague’s Degree Audit feature.  The Degree Audit feature allows Colleague users to check a student's progress in a major program and graduation readiness. Degree Audit Users Guide (.doc).
