Two of the best known national
resources are the Occupational
Outlook Handbook and ONET
OnLine. They are published
by the US Department of
Labor. Revised every two
years, the Handbook describes
what workers do on the job,
the education and training
required, earnings and expected
job prospects for a wide
range of occupations. Onet
provides descriptions of
the tasks, tools and technologies,
knowledge, skills, abilities
and work activities for
many occupations.
