Congratulations on your decision to include Southwestern Community College as part of your academic transfer process. Your educational experience at SCC will be filled with academic challenges in a highly supportive environment.
What gets your best friend into the university may not necessarily get you there! Your academic background will be a strong factor in determining your university transfer choices. If you are not a first time transfer student (you have taken classes at ANY other institution,) be sure to communicate this with your advisor.
