SCC Wireless Login Instructions

The following instructions uses the basic Windows wireless utility.

1.  Right-click on the wireless network connection icon on the task bar located at the bottom right of your screen.

2.  Click on the "View Available Wireless Networks"
3.  Select the WifiSCC and click on Connect. This will connect you to the wireless network.

4.  You will need to open an internet browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Etc. and login to access the internet. You do not have to login to access your Webmail or Blackboard.

5. When you open your internet browser you may receive a message advising that there is a problem with the security certificate of the website you have selected. Click on the Continue to this website (not recommended). If you do not receive this message continue to the next step.

Note: If you can not load the login page and you are using Internet Explorer download Firefox here.

6.  You should be taken to a login screen for you to login.

A student will login with their user name which consist of:

• First letter of your first name
• First four letters of your last name
• Last four digits of you student ID

The Student Password will consist of:

• Your Birth date (mmddyy)

Example: If your name is Sam Masters and your Student ID is 0456789 then your user name would be smast6789. For your password, let say your birth date is January 1, 1990 then your password would be 010190.

Faculty and Staff will use their user name and password that they use to login into Novell.
