Step
1 - Install ExamView on your computer.

Step
2 - Go to "Start" then to "Programs" and locate "ExamView
Pro Test Generator." Scroll and click on ExamView Pro.

Step
3 - Leave the default setting, "Create a new
test using the Quick Test Wizard" and click "OK."

4 - Type
in a title and then click "Next." |

| Step
5 - Locate the Question Bank that you want
to add to your test. You may have to click on a folder
to see individual chapter question banks within the
folder. Highlight the question bank, and then click
"Select." |

6 - You will see your selection move to
the bottom text box. Click "Next." |

| Step
7 - You will be asked to type in the number
of questions you would like added for each question
type. For instance, if there are 100 mulitple choice
questions in the bank, and you only want 50, you
can type in "50." Click "Next." |

8 - If you are selecting Mulitiple Choice
questions, and you choose less than the entire selection,
you will be asked to choose the amount of groups
that are to be used. |

9 - ExamView will display a summary of
the test questions you have selected. Click "Finish"
if you are satisfied with the summary, or click
"Back" if you need to change some of the selections
you have made. |

Step
10 - The test you have created will appear
on your screen. You can save this file to your hard
drive. You are now ready to export your test to your
Blackboard course.

Go to "File" and scroll down to "Export." |

| Step
12 - Select the location where you want
to save your tests on your computer. Type in
a name for the test. At the bottom it states
"Save as type." Scroll to Blackboard 6.0 and
click "Save." This will create a zip file in
a format compatible with Blackboard. |

13 - You will see the box below. Type in a
title for the test. Type in a name for the image folder
in lower box. Click "Save." |

Step
14 - Now go into your Blackboard course and
click "Control Panel."

Step
15 - Click "Pool Manager" under Assessment.
|
Step
16 - Click "Import."
|
| Step
17 - Click "Browse" and find the zip file
that you saved on your hard drive. Click "Submit." |

| You
should now see your new test listed in the Pool Manager.
To create a test using this new pool of questions,
click on the Test tutorial and begin with "Step 2." |
