- Must be a resident of Jackson or Swain Counties, including the Qualla Boundary
- Must be enrolled in a surveying degree program with plans to pursue a career in the local surveying industry
- Must maintain a 2.5 GPA
- Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
