Allison donates
Chevrolet to SCC's Foundation Golf Tournament

| "I can't believe this AVEO5
gets 34 miles per gallon," said Southwestern
Community College foundation director Sonja Haynes
as Daniel Allison of Allison's Chevrolet Jeep dealership
in Sylva shows her the new 2009 Chevrolet he is
donating to SCC's foundation golf tournament. "That
surprises a lot of people," said Allison, ranking
this car as not only tops in gas mileage but also
price, warranty and reliability. The first golfer
who makes a hole-in-one on the first tee at the
tournament Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Highlands Cove
Resort will drive it home. Haynes said there is
still time for foursome teams to sign up. Contact

from the tournament provide scholarships for students.
