I strongly encourage all students to make use of the free email account provided to you by the College. Southwestern's email is now powered by Google GMail!

I've been promoting Free AVG for a long-time now. I gave up Norton/Symantec and use AVG on my own machines. I recommend it highly (especially if you run Vista). Download and install the latest version from Grisoft. Grisoft also has an impressive anti-spyware tool and a rootkit detector.

Course Information

Below you will find three categories of documents for each class I am teaching:

• The Study Guide is your most important resource during the course. It is a living document and will change on a weekly or even daily basis. It is your Instructional Outline, your plan for the course, your study guide, and your exam review. You should visit this document on a regular basis.
• The Course Syllabus is a student-oriented document. It is the document that you typically receive on the first day of class. You are responsible for reading and understanding the Syllabus and I will review it on the first day of class. This document will not change during the semester.
• The Course Outline is an institutional document and of little use to students. However, I am required to create and maintain them for each class. This document rarely changes.
