why we are here,” said Cheryl
Contino-Conner, SCC director of Student
Support Services. The support can range
from academic counseling to personal
and career counseling- or even personal
tutoring. If a student has a disability,
SSS can assist with special services.
Perhaps a student needs a laptop or
a calculator- SCC offers a resource
loan program. Or perhaps the need is
financial- SCC provides supplemental
