MEET
SCC'S NEWEST EMPLOYEE:
Amy Macbeth -
Respiratory Therapy Instructor/ Clinical
Coordinator, start 11/02/09
Ms. Macbeth received an
Associate of Applied Science degree in
Respiratory Therapy from Florida Community
College and a Bachelor of Science degree
in Cardiopulmonary Science from the University
of Central Florida. She also received
training as an Emergency Medical Technician
from Tallahassee Community College. Ms.
Macbeth is a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
She was previously employed as a critical
care respiratory therapist by San Juan
Regional Medical Center (Farmington, New
Mexico) and as a respiratory therapist
by Mercy Medical Center (Durango, Colorado),
and as a critical care respiratory therapist
at Shands Hospital at the University of
Florida. Most recently she has been self-employed
as a yoga and pilates instructor. |

State Health Plan Newsletter
- The
State Health Plan will begin publishing
a monthly electronic newsletter that will
keep members up-to-date on pharmacy and
health benefits, as well as providing
tips on how to stay healthy and save money.
The newsletter, called Member Focus,
will be distributed electronically on
the third Tuesday of each month with the
first distribution on August 18, 2009.
