SCC student receives first Barbara Frogge Scholarship |

SYLVA - Southwestern Community College student Lisa Solomon, second from right, has been selected to receive the first-ever Barbara Frogge Scholarship. A student in the College Transfer program, Solomon who lives in Sylva - plans to transfer to Western Carolina University after completing her associate's degree at SCC. The scholarship was established in October to honor former Psychology and Religion instructor Barbara Frogge, who resigned this past summer due to health reasons.
