Title changes announced for Instructional leaders

SYLVA - Last month, Dr. Cecil Groves announced that the three administrators who head Southwestern's academic and instructional divisions have been assigned new titles.

The title of "Dean" will now apply to Thom Brooks, who oversees the Career Technologies division; Chris Cox, who is over College Transfer programs; and Debra Klavohn, who leads the Health Sciences Division.

"We have been very impressed with the leadership that these three instructional leaders have exhibited," said Dr. Groves. "We feel that the title of 'Dean' is a more accurate and appropriate reflection of the role and responsibilities that Thom, Chris and Deb have."
