Southwestern offers Speed Piano Workshop

SYLVA - Renowned for her ability to teach "busy people to play the piano in hours," Asheville resident, Deborah Belcher will be offering a workshop entitled, "Play Christmas Carols on the Piano--this season" at Southwestern Community College's Jackson Campus from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21.

"While the traditional (teaching) approach demands long-term discipline and precision in piano-playing," says Belcher, "this approach stresses enjoyment and getting great sounds early on."

Belcher has offered this sought-after workshop for over 12 years and has trained more than 18,000 people nationwide. Her approach is accessible and practical, allowing a person with little or no experience to begin achieving professional results with a little practice.
