Blanton Scholarship Awarded

Josh Day of Sylva was recently awarded the Robert Blanton Memorial Endowment Scholarship. Day is a college transfer student who will graduate from Southwestern in December. Upon graduation, Day plans to enter the construction management degree program at WCU. Becky Medford (left), executive director of the SCC Foundation, and Carolyn Blanton presented the scholarship.
