Maintenance-Grounds Crew's Generosity Recognized
Members
of the SCC Maintenance-Grounds department were recently
recognized by the NC Army National Guard for "outstanding
meritorious service to Detachment 1, 210th Military
Police Company in Sylva." According to the certificates
of recognition each of them received, during the unit's
deployment to Iraq, "the Maintenance-Grounds Section
exemplified the true meaning of the good neighbor by
regularly mowing and performing other maintenance tasks
to the Armory grounds." The certificate went on
to say, "The command and members of Detachment
1, 210th Military Police Company commends our neighbors
for their good citizenship and unselfishness."
