ESL Class Now Offered at SCC Cashiers Center

CASHIERS - Southwestern Community College, in conjunction with Highlands' International Friendship Center, is now offering English as a Second Language from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday evenings at SCC's Cashiers.

The class is designed to teach conversational English through personal interaction, interactive software and games. Students will enhance their speaking skills allowing them to communicate better with employers, businesses, doctors and teachers.

The class is open to the public at no charge. A light snack will also be provided. For additional information contact Beth Graham at (828) 743-6688.
