The Southwestern Community College Foundation recently awarded Samantha Murphy (left) and Tamarah Blake of Swain County scholarships. Murphy, a student in SCC's nursing program, was awarded the Robert Blanton Memorial Scholarship and Blake, a student in SCC's Outdoor Leadership program, received a Foundation Scholarship.
