to Host Health Science Career Fair
SYLVA
- More than 70 health care employers from North Carolina and northern
Georgia have been invited to attend a health care career fair
at Southwestern Community College.
The
event will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Mar. 30 in the Balsam
Center on SCC's Jackson Campus.
"This
event will allow our current students and health care workers
in the community, the opportunity to meet prospective employers,"
said Lori Yerse, SCC's practical nursing program coordinator.
"We welcome anyone looking for a health care job in the community
to attend this event."
In
addition to prospective employers, representatives from SCC's
health science programs will be on-hand. Door prizes will be drawn
and refreshments will be served.
