Placement test
offered at SCC Macon Center
Placement
tests for admission to Southwestern Community College
will be offered at the SCC Macon Center on December
13, 2005.
The College Placement Test is required for enrollment
in curriculum classes at SCC and will be offered at
11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
“We are steadily increasing our services and course
offerings in Macon County in preparation for opening
the SCC Macon Campus in 2006. The College Placement
Test is an important part of this effort,” Connie
Haire, Vice President for the Macon Campus, said.
“In addition we are scheduling a number of classes
for Spring Semester at our present Macon Center at the
courthouse annex. The classes will make it possible
for SCC students in Macon County to take some of their
required classes without traveling to the college’s
Jackson County campus. These will include business computer,
English, mathematics, psychology, reading, humanities
and real estate courses. The schedule for these classes
will be announced shortly.”
