Student Orientation will be held Wednesday, Nov 30
Samuel
Seiler of Sylva and his mother Sandra Seiler learn about
the medical programs available at Southwestern Community
College during an Open House for prospective students
held Nov. 3 on the Jackson campus. Seiler, a senior
at Smoky Mountain High School, told Barbara Putman,
right, dean of arts and sciences, that he is interested
in the two-year Emergency Medical Science program, with
options to transfer to a four-year college. New
student orientation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 30,
from 3-5 p.m., followed by a financial aid
session from 5-7 p.m.
