Gregory of Sylva had double reason to celebrate during
Southwestern Community College’s Summer Meets
Fall Celebration Sept. 22. The SCC student was also
celebrating his birthday and lead singer Gina Duke of
WestSound sang a special tribute to him during the Student
Leadership Association-sponsored event that featured
music by the Asheville-based band, free barbeque and
outside games like badminton.
