IT presentations set in May
Computers,
computer skills, career changes, and what's new with
computer technology will be covered in area presentations
by Information Technologies curriculum instructors from
Southwestern Community College in May.
The instructors will present on new technology and the
college's IT programs in Bryson City, Franklin and Sylva.
The first presentation is set for May 2 at the Marianna
Black Library in Bryson City. The second, on May 3,
will be given at Macon County's Franklin Library and
the SCC Balsam Center is the location for the final
presentation on May 4. All three sessions will begin
at 6 p.m.
In addition to the IT presentation, participants can
take part in door prize drawings for a number of items
including: breakfast for two at the Everett Street Diver
in Bryson City; 18 holes of golf and a golf cart at
the Franklin Golf Course; several items from Drake Trade
Card; free passes to the Fun Factory in Franklin; DVDs
and books from Dalton's Christian Bookstore; hats from
the Athlete's Foot/Sports Zone; and an optical trackball
and keypad for a laptop from TechPlace.
