Discover 101 Killer Marketing Tactics in a rapid-fire, information-packed seminar Feb. 10 offering marketing tips that range from common-sensical to offbeat.

Author and talk show host Winn Henderson, seminar presenter, draws on his years as host of his syndicated radio show, Share Your Mission, for the two-part presentation in Macon and Jackson counties. It's the second of the First Friday Seminar Series sponsored by Southwestern Community College, the Franklin Area Chamber of Commerce and the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.

The morning session will be held from 8- 11 a.m. at Angel Medical Center in Franklin. Breakfast is provided. To register, call SCC at 369-7331.

The afternoon session will be held at the Best Western River Escape Inn in Dillsboro from 1-4 p.m. Refreshments will be provided and participants can register by calling SCC at 586-4091, ext. 426 or the Jackson County Chamber at 586-2155.

There is no charge for either session but seating is limited at both locations, so pre-registration is required.

Henderson has interviewed such notable business and cultural icons as Harvey Mackay ("Swim With the Sharks Without Being Eaten Alive"), Kenneth Blanchard ("The One Minute Manager," "Gung Ho"), Roy Williams, Patch Adams, Deepak Chopra, and hundreds of others.

"Properly implemented, just one of the tools Winn shares could significantly increase a business's cash flow and profit," said Russ Seagle, SCC's small business center director. "Many of his methods cost little or nothing at all."
