Can You Sell to the Military?

A Lunch-N-Learn seminar on selling to the military will be held at Southwestern Community College's Jackson Campus in Bradford Hall, Room 100-A, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18.

This seminar will show participants how to sell goods and services to the military and how the NC Military Business Center can help increase their business.

Each year more than $2 billion is spent in military purchases in North Carolina. While the state ranks near the top as a host to military operations it is near the bottom in obtaining military contracts, according to Russ Seagle, SCC small business center director.

There is a $5 fee for this course that includes lunch and all course materials. Seating is limited, and pre-registration is required. Call the business assistance center at 828.488.6413 or SCC's continuing education office at 800.447.4091, extension 426 to register for this course.
