Seminar:
How to market a small business
A
three hour seminar, on how to market a small business
with little or no money will be presented at Southwestern
Community College’s Swain
Center in Bryson City on Tuesday, February 7.
Sponsored by SCC’s Business Assistance Center,
“Developing Your Business Image” will be
led by Linda Rozelle, a popular marketing consultant,
speaker, graphic artist and cartoonist. She will help
participants discover the image their business currently
projects and introduce them to a variety of ways to
mold that image.
Participants will learn how to choose the right name
for their business, how attitude and appearance affect
business prosperity, why a marketing strategy is essential
and the ins and outs of effective advertising.
"Linda has presented this course at SCC twice before
for us and participant response has been tremendous.
Everyone walks away with something tangible they can
put to use immediately," SCC Small Business Center
director, Russ Seagle, said.
There is a $5 charge for the seminar and a light meal
will be provided. To pre-register, participants are
asked to contact the SCC Swain Center at 828.488.6413.
