Former WestCare Health System radiologist Dr. Robert L. Hooper presented, from left, Hollie Shepard, Dawn Shuler and Shelly Vogler the Dr. Robert L. and Freda B. Hooper Scholarship. Shepard is a student in Southwestern Community College's medical sonography program while Shuler and Vogler are in SCC's radiography program. The scholarship is open to radiology and medical sonography students who demonstrate scholastic promise and maintain a cumulative 3.0 grade point average.
