SCC's Physical Therapist Assistants Team placed first in the state PTA quiz bowl during the 2006 fall conference of the N.C. Physical Therapy Association held Oct. 7, 2006 in Greensboro. "This was the first quiz bowl that the North Carolina Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association has ever held," said Deb Klavohn, Southwestern's dean of health sciences. "Eight schools competed in the Jeopardy-style competition and we started off in the lead and maintained it throughout."
