Rose Garrett will become the full time Public Information Officer at SCC on April 1, 2007. As you know Rose has shared the PIO responsibilities with Sara Hatton, who retired (a second time) this week. The job share worked well for the college because of these two professionals who coordinated the work of the PIO. We are indeed fortunate that Rose will continue with SCC and we look forward to working with her.

Rose is an excellent writer and keeps SCC in the forefront with area media. She is energetic, responsive to our requests, and works with a ready smile and twinkle in her eye.
