Phi Theta Kappa induction ceremony held
December 13, 2007

Seventeen students were inducted into the Alpha Eta Nu chapter of Phi Theta Kappa honor society Monday evening, Dec. 10, at Southwestern Community College during a candlelight ceremony.

Those inducted were Sheila Anders, accounting; Corey Atten, associate in arts, dual enrollment; Shelby Blanton, advertising and graphic design; Caroline Bonds, outdoor leadership; Wyatt Chiltoskie, computer information technology; James Collins, associate in arts, social science, secondary education; Katherine Crane, nursing; Katherina DeRico, associate in arts; John Hall, radiography; Rebecca Hendrix, culinary technology; Eric Huskey, radiography; Stephanie McCall, radiography; Ashley Moore, associate in arts; Kevin Price, criminal justice; Christopher Salerno, associate in arts; Jennifer Wiggins, culinary technology and Stephanie Wood, criminal justice.;

Chapter membership requirements include that a student must: be enrolled in 24 hours on a full-time basis toward an associate degree; have a grade point average of 3.5 or better for the last two semesters; and possess both ethical standards and qualities of citizenship and leadership.
