Seventeen students were
inducted into the Alpha Eta
Nu chapter of Phi Theta Kappa
honor society Monday evening,
Dec. 10, at Southwestern Community
College during a candlelight
ceremony.
Those inducted were Sheila
Anders, accounting; Corey
Atten, associate in arts,
dual enrollment; Shelby Blanton,
advertising and graphic design;
Caroline Bonds, outdoor leadership;
Wyatt Chiltoskie, computer
information technology; James
Collins, associate in arts,
social science, secondary
education; Katherine Crane,
nursing; Katherina DeRico,
associate in arts; John Hall,
radiography; Rebecca Hendrix,
culinary technology; Eric
Huskey, radiography; Stephanie
McCall, radiography; Ashley
Moore, associate in arts;
Kevin Price, criminal justice;
Christopher Salerno, associate
in arts; Jennifer Wiggins,
culinary technology and Stephanie
Wood, criminal justice.;
Chapter membership requirements
include that a student must:
be enrolled in 24 hours on
a full-time basis toward an
associate degree; have a grade
point average of 3.5 or better
for the last two semesters;
and possess both ethical standards
and qualities of citizenship
and leadership.
