Six Sigma Green Belt

Small Business Center LogoSouthwestern Community College's Center for Business and Industry will offer a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification course this summer at the Swain Center. Class dates for the six-day course are July 7-9 and Aug. 4-6.

The Six Sigma process guides companies to perform systematic process improvement by eliminating defects and is used in the manufacturing, healthcare, finance, government and many other industries.

The Green Belt curriculum includes problem-solving, selecting the right statistical tool, leading process improvement projects, and working in a team environment. Successful participants will be fully equipped to lead their organization's efforts in process and quality improvement.

The instructor, Brian Vaughan, has extensive industry experience and has conducted many Six Sigma certification courses. The cost for the course is $675.
