Students from area high schools and the community were on campus to meet with faculty during the Career Day on Thur, April 3.

With a little back support from her big sister, Heather, Desire Newman selects the career sessions she wants to attend at Southwestern Community College’s Career Fair Thursday, April 3. The two Blue Ridge students have not yet decided on a career choice and readily joined other students from area high schools who were on the Jackson Campus to learn about different career opportunities. Students could attend four different sessions where they received career information, including educational preparation, job descriptions, salary ranges and the potential for future job availability.
