CNA's average 91%

Nursing Assistants
These Certified Nursing Assistants, from left, Michele Elliott of Macon County, Disiree Selby, Denise Hampton, Teresa Henry, Melanie Meadows, Barbara Copeland, all of Jackson County, Brittany Crisp of Macon County, Lindsey Wright of Jackson County and Rachael Kuehn of Macon County, completed their CNA I clinicals and program June 27. “They have been an exceptional group,” said instructor Patricia Olesen RN. “Their class average is 91 percent and not only have they mastered the knowledge and skills required in their health care profession, but they demonstrate a passion for the respect and compassion of individuals they are serving.” CNAs work under the direction of a licensed person, performing basic nursing techniques on patients who are ill or have chronic health problems.
