Medical Assisting students begin externship |

| The first class of
medical assisting students
will begin their externship
this semester. They
will work side by side
with physicians, nurses
and other allied health
professionals performing
administrative and clinical
procedures. Many times,
medical assistants are
on the front line of
care in physicians’
offices and clinics,
according to program
