Southwestern Community College students in the respiratory therapy class of 2009 were pinned during a ceremony May 6 at the Balsam Center on the Jackson Campus. SCC respiratory therapy program director Mitch Fischer and Cindy Amster, SCC director of respiratory therapy clinical education, presented the pins and special awards. Following a video presentation and the pinning, class president Mike Lynch of Buncombe County spoke. The Southwestern Community College physical therapist assistant class of 2009 received their pins during an evening ceremony Friday, May 1, on the Jackson Campus. Awards and pins were presented by PTA Program Director Debra Klavohn and PTA Clinical Coordinator Diane Page.
