Parent and Sponsor Night - Nov 17 |
The Cherokee Middle School
4-H RezBots Lego Robotics
Teams are hosting a Parent
and Sponsor Night on Nov.
17, at 6 p.m. in
the Middle School Media Center.
The teams will demonstrate
their robot programming prowess,
as well as Smart Move presentations.
The four teams (The 8th Grade
Plus That Other Kid, The Terminators,
A-wo-ha-li, and Team LMNOP)
will demonstrate their robot's
capabilities on the board,
as well as share their presentations
about making transportation
in Cherokee more efficient
or safer. The Robotics Teams
are sponsored by Southwestern
Community College GEAR UP,
a college readiness program
aimed at helping students
become better prepared to
succeed in post-secondary
