arrive to aid
riot victims
during the college’s
disaster drill
Monday evening,
Oct. 26, on
the Jackson
Campus. Students
from many of
the health science
divisions, including
nursing, radiography,
respiratory
therapy, sonography,
human services
technology,
health information
technology,
as well as forensics,
participated
in the simulated
riot. “WestCare
EMS and Drs.
David Trigg,
Michael Toedt
and Dominique
Toedt from the
Cherokee Hospital
assisted our
students, who
benefitted from
their expertise
and experience,”
said Eric Hester,
SCC EMS instructor.
“It was
a learning opportunity
for everybody
involved.”
