students in Serena Herter’s
Spanish classes and Kay
Wolf’s English as
a second language classes
planned the celebration,
made the decorations, created
a power point presentation
on Hispanic countries and
danced the Zumba taught
by Janice Remacle. SCC’s
culinary department prepared
taco salads and salsa for
the noon celebration held
at Bradford Lounge on the
Jackson Campus. Goldstein
said he was taking Spanish
“to broaden my possibilities
in business.”
