Five graduates of Southwestern Community College’s human services technology program were honored during a Dec. 13 pinning ceremony at the Jackson Campus.

Students honored during the ceremony include Jennifer Abbey of Sylva; Alexandria Crisp, Bryson City; Linda Henry, Franklin; Corey Maman, Hendersonville; and Julie Miller, Lake Toxaway.

SCC’s human services technology program prepares students to work in mental health, child care, family services, social services and a wide variety of other agencies.

Graduates are also eligible to transfer to Western Carolina University’s social work program.
