What motivates you to continue and excel at SCC in spite of circumstances you may face?
I have decided to pursue my dream of becoming the first person in my family to graduate from college and receiving four degrees. I have always loved school and acquiring knowledge. I want to prove to myself and everyone who has ever doubted me, that I will prevail and accomplished what they say could not be done.
What advice would you give to future students who might face similar situations?
I would tell future SCC students that although life can be difficult at times and you may face many obstacles, always look to the future with a positive attitude. If you never give up on your goals and dreams, eventually you will achieve them.
