July 21, 2010	2 p.m.	(Please respond by July 20 at noon)
August 12, 2010	9 a.m.	(Please respond by August 11 at noon)

Thank you for your interest in attending New Student Orientation at Southwestern Community College.
•	An overview of Southwestern Community College.
•	Sessions that will cover topics pertinent to student needs and resources.
•	A breakdown of various programs of study from within each academic division.
•	A detailed tour of campus.
•	Meet with Academic Advising staff to register for classes.

Registration will begin approximately 30 minutes before the orientation session and will be held in the Balsam Center 1st Floor Lobby. The Balsam Center is the first building you see when arriving on campus. You may park anywhere in the front parking area.

All necessary materials needed for the information and advising session will be provided to you. You are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes, as an extensive walking tour of the campus is a part of the event. If you have not presently registered for fall classes, you will have the opportunity to register with an academic advisor following the information sessions. You may want to review the class schedule for the upcoming semester, which is located online at www.southwesterncc.edu/news/sked.htm, prior to meeting with your advisor.

You may register for New Student Orientation by filling out and submitting the information below. Check-in will begin approximately 30 minutes before the start of the event in the Balsam Center Lobby. We look forward to seeing you at New Student Orientation!
