students enrolling
for the first time
at Southwestern
Community College
are required to
participate in an
Orientation program.
The program is designed
to acquaint new
students with the
important policies,
resources and services
available at Southwestern
and provide valuable
information needed
to facilitate student
academic success.
Prior to the start
of fall and spring
semesters, live
orientation sessions
are conducted at
the Jackson Campus.
Students are not
permitted to register
for the next semester
of study until they
have completed the
Orientation Program.
