He began his career in food service
as a cook in the U.S. Navy. His

Texas where he was a catering chef
and purchasing agent, and he was
a cook aboard the Delta Queen Steamboat
in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has
been a kitchen trainer and an executive
chef in previous positions as well.
