Suzanne Vincent received a Bachelors degree from Iowa State University and Masters in Education from Southern Illinois University. Ms. Vincent was most recently employed as the part-time JOBS Now Coordinator for the Extension Education Division at Southwestern Community College. Ms. Vincent was also previously employed in numerous positions for Mountain Mediation Services, as an adjunct outdoor leadership instructor at SCC, and as an adjunct professor at WCU.

Ms. Hill was most recently employed part-time as the Associate of Fine Arts program associate by Southwestern Community College (located at the Oconaluftee Institute for Cultural Arts). She was previously employed as an illustrator by Western Carolina University and as a box office manager by the Cherokee Historical Association. She was also employed as a special events coordinator/assistant to the chairman at Emory University.

Mr. Duven is the current owner of Euchella Sport Lodge, a wilderness sport resort, and Euchella Company, a general contracting company. He previously owned Rolling Thunder River Company, a whitewater rafting company. He was also employed as a high school biology teacher by Alfred B MaClay School.

Ms. Fisher received an associate's degree in advertising and graphic design from Southwestern Community College. Ms. Fisher is the owner of WayaMedia. She was previously employed as the marketing manager by Trillium Links and Village, as a lab assistant by Southwestern Community College, and as a publishing coordinator/assistant editor by Project Management Institute.

Ms. Amster received a bachelor's degree from Western Carolina University in biology. She is also a graduate of the respiratory therapy program at Southwestern Community College. Ms. Amster was most recently employed as a respiratory therapist by Westcare Health Systems. She was previously employed as a part-time instructor by Southwestern Community College.

Ms. Renfro received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Mars Hill College. She was most recently employed with the Upward Bound program at Mars Hill College where she has also worked in several different capacities for the past seven years. She is also an Upward Bound student alumnus from Eastern Kentucky University.

Mr. Agraz received a bachelor of science degree from Western Carolina University and is currently enrolled in their master's program. Mr. Agraz was employed with Upward Bound Math and Science as a director and previously as an instructor. He was also employed as a laboratory instructor with Western Carolina University and a tutor with Fairview Elementary School.

Graduate and undergraduate degrees from Virginia Tech University. Previously employed as a part-time instructor the NC Academy of Real Estate and is also self-employed as owner/broker of a full service real estate firm. Prior real estate experience also includes that as a property manager and as a property consultant.

Ms. Coleson was previously an owner of a boutique in downtown Sylva. Ms. Coleson has 14 years of prior experience as a legal secretary and approximately four years of experience as an Administrative Assistant for a Real Estate Investments branch of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance company.

Matthew Cass received both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Applied Physics from Appalachian State University. He has additional graduate level course work in mathematics and has expressed a willingness to obtain 18 hours in the field. Mr. Cass has teaching experience at the high school, community college, and university levels.

Dr. Haynes earned her Bachelors of Arts in History from Wake Forest University, Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Florida International University, and Doctorate of Education in Adult and Community College Education from North Carolina State University.

Dr. Haynes was previously employed by Western Carolina University as Director of Sponsored Research and Programs. Previous experience includes Haywood Community College where she was an instructor in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration and later the Director of Technology and Learning Resources. Dr. Haynes also taught as an adjunct at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College. She has been the Executive Director of the W. H. Brady Foundation in Maggie Valley. Her office experience includes paralegal and secretarial experience. She also has been a technical writer and project manager with Zurich-American Insurance Group and Chase Federal Savings and Loan.

Ms. Connell was most recently employed by WestCare Health Systems as a staff registered nurse. For the past eleven years she has been in the Intensive Care Unit and recently transferred to the Emergency Room. Previously she worked for Lucerne Medical Center (Humana Lucerne) in Orlando, Florida. She has over thirteen years of experience in the nursing profession and another ten years as a paramedic/ EMT before her switch to nursing.

Tricia graduated from Brevard High School and has taken classes at several institutions and intends to complete a degree in the future. She was previosuly employed at Western Carolina University where she worked six months in the Graduate Studies Office serving as an administrative assistant and since March has served as a program assistant in the Reading Center. In addition, she was employed for three years at Blue Ridge Community College at the Transylvania Center in Brevard.

Ms. Ashlock possesses a Bachelors degree in Anthropology from Texas A & M University and two Master degrees, one in Museum Education from the College of William & Mary and another in Religion and Art from Bangor Theological Seminary. Ms. Ashlock was most recently employed as a Library assistant on a part-time basis with Bangor Theological Seminary. Previously, she was employed as an Education Programs Manager with Kelmscott Rare Breeds Foundation. Additional previous full-time experience includes work as an Education Coordinator with Cape Fear Museum and Old York Historical Society.

Ms. Oetting possesses a Bachelors degree from Smith College and a Master of Arts degree from Western Carolina University. Ms. Oetting was previously employed by SCC part-time as a Math Instructor at the Oconaluftee Job Corps in Cherokee. Other previous full-time experience includes GLAHNF Program Assistant at the Tip of the Mitt Watershed in Petoskey, Michigan; a Bi-Lingual Medical Screening Associate for PharmaTech Solutions, Inc., Wilmington, NC and a Recruiter/Hiring Coordinator for Nantahala Outdoor Center.

John was most recently employed as a shift leader and cleaning captain at Taco Bell. He has been employed there since 1993. Prior to that position, he worked for Webster Enterprises and went through their job training program. He also has over eleven years experience at Maxwell Bakery (formerly in Dillsboro) and Ashley's (formerly in Sylva). John received his high school diploma from Camp Lab School in Cullowhee.

Nathan Woods received his high school diploma from Smoky Mountain High School and has an Associate Degree pending from Haywood Community College in Forestry. Mr. Woods was previously employed by Bower's Lawn Care as a Crew Leader. Mr. Woods also has experience as a member of the Fire Crew for the NC Forest Service on a part-time basis and as a member of the Paint Crew for NC DOT part-time. Nathan Woods also performs part-time grounds maintenance on a contractual basis.

Mr. Hatton has an Associate Degree in Horticulture from Haywood Community College. He was most recently employed as an Arborist with Appalachian Arborists in Asheville. Mr. Hatton was self-employed as an Arborist in Sylva for several years as well. Mr. Hatton's experience includes several years of experience as a crew leader for Barton's Landscaping out of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Horticare, out of Asheville, NC.
