| 1. |
Visitors
to instructional areas must have prior approval
from the instructor to minimize class disruption.
Visitors unfamiliar with the campus should
report to the college receptionist. |
| 2. |
Visitors
to laboratories, shops, or other potentially
hazardous areas must be escorted by a member
of the faculty or staff. |
| 3. |
Students
and employees of the college are encouraged
to make child care arrangements to reduce
interruption of the educational process and
avoid possible injury to a minor. |
| 4. |
In
emergency situations, children may be brought
to campus and to class, if the supervisor
or faculty member approves. However, the parent
or guardian shall assume all responsibility
for the child's safety and welfare and the
college assumes no liability.

Emergency
situations do not include scheduled
school closings or consecutive day problems
with child care. |
| b. |
If
the child or children are disruptive,
the parent or guardian should remove
them from campus. |
| c. |
Minor
children (non-students of less than
18 years of age) must be supervised
by an adult at all times. |
| d. |
Children
with contagious conditions should not
be brought to campus. |

| 5. |
Minors who are not attending the college as
a student, may not enter shops, labs, or other
hazardous areas. |
| 6. |
To
ensure a safe and secure campus environment,
the President and his designees, senior administrators
(Vice Presidents) and the Security Supervisor,
have authority to dismiss persons from campus.
Legal action for trespass may be taken if
the person does not comply. |
