Southwestern
Community College is an official General Educational
Development (GED) Testing Center. The GED Test Coordinator
implements the testing program. GED tests are administered
throughout the college service area on a regular
basis. Achievement of the minimum individual test
scores and the minimum total battery score results
in awarding of the high school equivalency credential.
Southwestern Community College adheres to all standardized
testing policies and procedures as outlined by the
General Educational Development Testing Service
and the state of North Carolina.
