Southwestern Community College - Policies and Procedures Manual
Policy Title: Supplanting of Funds 7.9
Responsible Division: Business Services  
Date Approved: October 1992  
 
1. Whereas funds awarded to the college from programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education are intended and regulated to supplement, and not displace other institutional resources, it shall be the policy of Southwestern Community College to use such funds for supplemental purposes. Funds received from the U.S. Department of Education shall not be used to replace or supplant funds which are available from other sources sufficient to meet the college needs for supporting activities for which such federal funds have been received.
