Dedication
to Kay Sherburn
In appreciation of her hard
work and dedication, Southwestern
Community College and the
Macon County Firefighters
Association dedicates the
2008 edition of the 21st Annual
WNC Area Fire, Rescue, and
EMS College in honor of Kay
Sherburn.
Kay has given countless hours
thru the years providing Fire
and Rescue protection to the
citizens of Macon County and
North Georgia, as well as, being
an integral part of the success
of the WNC Fire School.
She has been a member of Sky
Valley/Scaly Mountain Fire Department
since 2003. Kay has been a member
of the Macon County Firefighters
Association since 2004. She
was elected
Secretary/Treasure in 2004 and
still holds those positions.
Kay has many hours of training
in both Fire and Rescue.
Therefore, in honor of her
enthusiasm, dedication and willingness
to give back to the community
and her fellow firefighters,
we say, “Thank you Kay!”
