SCC's Yard Sale set for April 13

SYLVA - Southwestern Community College's Student Support Services (SSS) and Culinary Arts programs will host their annual spring yard sale from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, in front of the Balsam Center on SCC's Jackson Campus.

Vendor spaces can be purchased for $15 and must be paid for in advance. Groups and individuals are invited to sell.

Southwestern's Culinary Arts Club will sell breakfast from 8-10 a.m. and barbecue lunch plates beginning at 11:30 a.m. They will also sponsor a cakewalk, which is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

Proceeds from the events will benefit the Culinary Arts Club's trip to the National Restaurant Association Hotel, Motel, Food and Equipment Show in Chicago, IL.

In case of inclement weather, the sale will be moved inside Myers Auditorium located in the Balsam Center. Rain checks will not be issued to vendors.
