Spotlight - February 2004
Happy
New Year to you!
I hope this message finds you and your family happy and healthy
as we begin our new year.
It seems like yesterday when fall semester started - it is hard
to believe half of the academic year has already past. As they
say, time flies when you are having fun.
Speaking of fun, your SSS staff enjoys creating new programs and
new ways to serve you better. We have an idea about our monthly
SSS Spotlight but want to be sure we are making the right decision,
in this case the most accessible decision, for you. Please let
us know what you think of the following:
Would you prefer we continue to provide you with your monthly
SSS Spotlight through your mailboxes OR would you be interested
in receiving this information via email?
Let us hear from you. We will do whatever fits your lifestyle.
Have a great semester. Please stop by our offices regularly. We
enjoy seeing all of you.
Cheryl

Important
Cultural Enrichment Reminder for all new and
returning students:
Culutrual Enrichment trips are designed to broaden your cultural
and/or experiential learning. Our enrichment trips are FREE
to you and we want you to participate in as many as possible.
However, if you sign-up for a trip, you are expected to SHOW
UP! These trips are FREE to you, but they are quite
costly on your SSS Grant. If you sign-up and find out at a
later date that you can not attend, you MUST give us
at least 3 days notice so we can find a replacement for you.
Failure to notify us will result in you "sitting out"
the next 2 trips. If you have any questions, please give me
a call at ext. 245. |

But wait, there's more. . . Before the long bus ride to Raleigh.
