Director's Message

We made it through March Madness!!! We read about Mardi Gras, experienced spring break, lived through another major snow storm, cheered on our favorite basketball team and started our spring cleaning. WHEW! Now, grab your last cup of hot chocolate, sit back and take time to read-up on the latest developments in your SSS department. Are your feet propped up? Good, you can proceed with your reading.

By now, each of you should have received your copy of our new Student Support Services Handbook. Did you find your picture in it? If not, we can fix that . . . just join us on one of our many scheduled cultural enrichment trips, or join us for kickboxing on Monday and Wednesday at 4:00 in the gym.

Now is the time to plan for your summer and fall classes. The classes for summer semester can be found on the SCC web-site; however, please keep in mind that this schedule is subject to change. It is always a smart move to plan ahead, but be sure to not "lock" yourself into a schedule this early since you may find that the class you wanted to take has been changed to a different time or location.

I wish you academic success as you finish up spring semester 2001.
