For seat-based, web-supported, and hybrid courses, attendance must be tracked for the entire semester.
For web-centered courses, taking attendance in WebAdvisor is only required for the 10% census date (as attendance is tracked via submission of assignments in Blackboard).

	Log into MySCC (my.southwesterncc.edu) and click on WebAdvisor.
	Click on Faculty, then Web Attendance Tracking.
	On the resulting screen, select Attendance Tracking.
	In the Form Start Date field, enter the correct date for the beginning of the class. For seat-based, web-assisted, and hybrid courses, use the date of the first class meeting. For web-centered courses, use the start date for the semester.
	To select a course to report attendance, click the circle to the left of the course name and title, then click Submit. Note: Courses with more than one component (lecture, lab, clinical, etc.) will list each component separately for attendance reporting. Attendance must be reported for all components. However, students should only be reported as a "No Show" if they did not attend any class meeting in both components of that course.
	Enter an attendance code for each student. E (for Entered) should be typed into the respective box for the first day the student attended. The No Show checkbox should be checked to indicate that the student did not attend class by the census date. You have until the day after the census date to report attendance. Note: Course census dates are displayed at the top left under the Course Name, Meeting, and Location information.
	When you have finished entering in attendance codes for all students, check the Electronic Signature box, indicating your confirmation of the attendance information, and click the Submit button. Important: if your course is seat-based, web-supported, or hybrid, do not check the Final Submission box; this is only to be checked when you are submitting final attendance for the semester.
