Longevity Pay Employee Benefits > Longevity Pay Longevity pay is provided for full-time employees for aggregate qualifying service to the state of North Carolina according to the following schedule:Years of State ServiceLongevity Pay Rate10 -14 years1.50 % of salary15 – 19 years2.25 % of salary20 – 24 years3.25 % of salary25 or more4.50 % of salaryLongevity payments are paid during the anniversary month as provided by the state legislature.
